Poker Wizards is an enchanting and an addictive poker book written by the great Warwick Dunnett in 2008. This superb piece of literature clearly spells out the various strategies, details and winning tips that have been extracted from the eminent poker players.

Some of the important topics covered by the book are important characteristics of poker players, Bankroll management, bluffing, aggressive strategy, hand strategies for Holdem games and so on.

Poker players should know the importance of poker books. If you want to learn the ancient yet effective tricks of the game you must read books on poker which explain all the theories in detail. All you need is library card and you can access these books which will provide you with great insight. You will emerge a confident and a controlled poker player after reading the poker games. Tournaments on television, online, and observing professionals in casino would not teach you everything you need to learn. You should invest a few hours every day in reading poker books if you want to be one of the celebrated players. Just reading poker books would not help. After reading you should be able to successfully implement whatever you have learnt and then decide if you have become a better player or not.

This book introduces you to diverse subjects that make a difference between good and great poker players. All poker players who want to establish themselves in the poker circuit should read this book as it would sharpen their skills.

Players who play no-limt Holdem must read this book as the stalwarts of this game have stated their tips and strategies. The list includes Daniel Negreanu, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, Dan Harrington, T.J Cloutier, Marcel Luske, Mel Judah, Mike Sexton and Kathy Liebert. They talk about their individual poker experiences and this may give you insight about the why of the game.

One of the added advantages is the chapter dedicated to body language by the eminent Marc Salem – body language specialist. You can read about the physical, and non articulate gestures made by poker players and enhance your knowledge about the game.

Interesting details have been shared on the pre-flop strategy which would help the players to direct their games in the right way. Most of the strategies are elucidated with prolific examples which endow knowledge to the budding players. Examples help in a comprehensive understanding of the strategies and situations written in the book.

Poker has its presence all over the world. The game is just not limited to the English language. Players should know about the rules and regulations which would help them play poker in casinos and online as well. There are assortments of poker games. The games include seven card stud, Omaha and Texas hold’em Poker and so on. Before playing the game with the opponents you should be well versed with poker terminology or you would feel like a fish out of water.

Once you are acquainted with the glossary of poker you should move ahead and learn the various strategies used in poker. You should be educated about all the variations that the game has to offer so that you can win against all odds. Poker is one of the most admired games in the world.

Las Vegas is known as the Mecca for gambling. This city is frequented by all the eminent poker players to participate and win the World Series of Poker (WSOP). This enchanting and celebrated tournament combines nascent and professional players in a single tournament all over the world. The magnanimous prize money and the fame at WSOP would surely alter your lifestyle. As an old and established tradition the best European player wins a gold bracelet. This honor is noteworthy as it may actually put the players in limelight and overnight they become famous. In 2008 a 24 year old Peter Eastgate had been honored with this felicitation.

There are numerous events that witnesses thousands of participants at WSOP. In 2009 at WSOP more than 20,000 Americans participated in 56 odd events which proves that poker is still America’s favorite card game. The country that ranks second in terms of participation is Canada that had close to 1028 players.

It is just not about the list of entrants that caused the divide. America was paramount at 2009WSOP as it won 34 bracelets and had 73$ million dollars earned by the winners.

You will be surprised to know that 6494 players had enrolled for this gala and larger-than-life event. This had led to the creation of $61.043.600 reward money. No limit Texas Holdem players had close to 648 players and most of the top players resorted to divide $20 million. The main event winner at 2009, WSOP would be awarded with $8.55 million.
